Jess Rose BA DipEd
Teaches - Young Actors and Actors Ensembles
Jess Rose has been a committed member of UpStage team for 15 years. Starting as a student, then tutor, before progressing to roles both onstage and off, her passion for theatre is clearly evident. She also loves how UpStage gives back to the community she lives in.
As an actor, some of her favourite productions with Upstage include Midsummer Nights Dream (2009) and Much Ado about Northing (2017).
She has also enjoyed co-directing shows such as Dags (2014), Living with Lady Macbeth (2016) and Helly’s Magic Cup (2017). Working both as an actor, back stage crew, stage manager and director has provided Jess with considerable experience in a variety of areas within the performing arts. She has also had the opportunity to work with industry professionals from dance, stage fighting to lighting and is always ready to learn more.
With a Bachelor of Arts/ secondary Education, Jess spends her spare time as an English Teacher and is currently undertaking her Masters
