Upstage Theatre’s Booking Terms and Conditions

Exchange or Return of tickets
Ticket purchase is final and no refunds or returns are permitted. At the discretion of Upstage Theatre, tickets may be transferred to an alternate night for the same show subject to seating availability by contacting our productions team at productions@upstageyouththeatre.com.au. In addition, changes in the cast or the programme do not entitle holders to a return or an exchange of tickets. Refunds for ticket purchases are at the sole discretion of Upstage Theatre.
Cancellations and Transfers of Performances
Upstage Theatre’s productions are all weather, open air events where seating areas for the audiences are generally uncovered. We are committed to going ahead with performances even in inclement weather conditions unless the safety of our actors or audience members is at risk. Upstage Theatre will advise patrons by email and/or mobile in the event of a cancellation up to 2 hours prior to the commencement of a show. It is the responsibility of ticket holders to check their email/phone for these notifications. If a cancellation occurs, performances will be moved to an alternate, pre-arranged date with the venue and ticket holders will be advised of the change. Due to site restrictions at the venue, requests to transfer tickets to specific dates cannot be accommodated. Supplementary expenses including but not limited to accommodation, travel, hospitality or transfers that have been arranged in conjunction with the performance are done so at your own risk. Upstage Theatre bears no responsibility for any refunds due to inclement weather or cancellations of performances.
Important Information for All Performances
As our performances are outdoors, we advise everyone to dress accordingly for their own comfort.
Please bring warm and rainproof clothing as a backup.
Venues open 30mins prior to the commencement of the show for ticket holders to enjoy a picnic. BYO food, drinks and rug!
Ticket holders arriving after the commencement of the show will be seated at the back of the audience at a time that limits disruptions to the performance and other guests. This may include at an interval.
Anybody requiring wheelchair access and/or assistance being seated, please speak with an usher at the door on the night of the performance.
